Hi! I'm Jess, and I'm so glad you're here!

I grew up in a small town in FL with the sun (almost) always shining, and the sweetest strawberries! I always loved my small  town, but I was a city girl at heart! In 2012 God brought me to New York City, and its been "home" ever since! I have served in various student, discipleship, and womens ministry roles over the past 17 years, and now serve as the director of discipleship for One Community Church in Hell's Kitchen!

I grew up with parents who really loved Jesus and other people well, and it sparked a passion for  me to do the same. I want my life to be a reflection of Jesus every day. Since moving to New York, it has been my goal to be involved in my community, and in my church in such a way that I could demonstrate the love of Christ by the way I interact with those around me. I love talking with people abouit faith, why the Gospel is relevent to them today, and what it looks like to walk in relationship with Jesus!
